Annual Credit Report
- In order to protect consumers from identity theft and other credit related issues, Congress passed the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act). This measure allows consumers to receive a free credit report every year from each of the three credit reporting companies. You can request all three reports at the same time, or you can stagger your requests throughout the year.
